This straight-forward guide includes everything you need to know about using cloth wipes: a list of things you need, the prep and washing process, and the many benefits of choosing them as an alternative to store-bought wipes.

Benefits
Cloth wipes will be gentler on your baby's skin and your wallet! According to Natural Baby Life, parents, on average, spend about $275/year for mid-range brand quality and $547/year on high quality brands of baby wipes. That's a big expense and adds up if you have multiple kids, rely on baby wipes year after year, and want higher-brand wipes that aren't full of harsh chemicals.
Yes, disposable wipes are more convenient, but is the financial and environmental cost worth it? If you are already cloth diapering, cloth wipes are such an easy ad-on to the diapering process and it will save.you money. Cloth wipes are a one-time purchase of about $50 (about $30 for the diaper warmer and $20 for the cloth wipes) that you can use from kid to kid. The cloth wipes are durable and also saves piles and piles of disposable wipes from going into the landfill.
What You Need
15-20 Pack of Cloth Wipes
Wipe Warmer
Baby Soap or Pure Castile Soap
Coconut Oil
Preparing Process
1. Fold the Cloth Wipes
First you need to fold the cloth wipes in an accordion style (as demonstrated in the video below) so they fit into the wipe warmer and come out seamlessly.
2. Add Soap and Coconut Oil to Water
Mix 1 tsp of soap + 2 tbsp of coconut oil + 2 cups of hot water in a bowl.
3. Submerge Wipes in Water Solution
Keep the wipes folded and simply submerge them into the water solution until they are thoroughly wet.
4. Put Wipes in Wipe Warmer
The wipe warmer will prevent the cloth wipes from drying out and the coconut oil from changing to a solid form.
Washing
Washing your cloth wipes is easy, especially if you are already cloth diapering. Simply add them to any load, BUT make sure to use safe detergent so preserve the wipe durability. You can find my cloth diaper and wipe safe laundry detergent here:
